the Avengers was very good. of course, the case could be made that i'm biased because a) i'm a girl and it's mostly cute males, b) i like superhero movies, and c) again, it's mostly comprised of cute males. that said, i only noticed that the movie was starting to feel long once...during the Transformers-like fight scene in New York. Seriously, does any bad guy or alien know of any other major city to attack??
in other news, the puppies are adorable! well, they are always adorable, and i miss them so when i have to leave for any extended period of time (ahem: work). Linus has enrolled in training classes, which are is good for him, and he is the cute pup in the class. Lulu is, of course, still being a queen. :)
generally speaking, the more i work out the less junk food i want to eat. and the reverse could also be said to be true...soooo, when i'm vacationing at home all i want to do is eat, and eat, and eat. since this overwhelming appetite can't possibly be only contributed to a few days lack of exercise, what is it? is this boredom? depression? an over-attack of happiness since i'm with my adorable puppies?
[sighs]
PS - i found a new tv show that i like - Covert Affairs. seriously, the list of shows i like watching keeps growing this year! the tally is now up to 6. Once Upon A Time for their masterful ability to weave together all sorts of fairy tales, even those not written by the same people (ex. what is the Mad Hatter doing in the same town with Pinocchio and Snow White?), Missing with Ashley Judd, NCIS because who doesn't watch that show?, Burn Notice because Michael Westin is hilarious and has enormous patience for a man with that many familial issues, and Gossip Girls, the typical NYC show (although it's getting really old and a little too convoluted at this point).
PPS - i've just realized that most of the shows i watch are spy-related in some way.
